From a "user's" point of view (which is often a strange feeling for people
who develop software) I didn't feel a thing. I'm referring of course to the
transfer of this list to it's new home. I have no idea of the work or
man-hours involved, but I'm sure the effort was considerable ( it's
amazing how much effort goes into trying to make something go unnoticed ).

Therefore : My compliments to the Chef !!

However :) For the past few days (a week in fact), I've been trying to
search the list's archives (still trying to figure out why I receive a
confirmation of the search but no results), but since the "move", the old
listserver reports that the database doesn't exist, and the new listserver
reports that the database functions haven't been ported yet. So maybe a
message could be posted, signaling the return of these most useful
functions, instead of me (and possibly others?) sending repeated search
requests (like a "user" who jams the Return key with a pencil and sits
waiting for a prompt...). Just a thought, not intended to leave a bitter
taste!
