Ken Sletten writes: (a) Loading ODBCVIEWs should be fully automatic; i.e.: do it at first ATTACH for every DBE if they are not already there. Don't even both to ask the question; but maybe display a message saying that ODBCVIEWs were loaded. (b) Loading ODBCVIEWs should be the default; i.e.: <CR> or "Y" in answer to the "ODBCVIEWs are missing. Do you want to load now (Y/N) ?" question at the time of first ATTACH for each DBE. (c) Keep the current default of NOT loading ODBCVIEWs, but ask the "ODBCVIEWs are missing. Do you want to load now (N/Y) ?" question in Image/SQL. I.e.: You specifically have to enter "Y" - <CR> to the question to load ODBCVIEWs. Ken: I vote for (a). If you're using a job to access the data base, it would work better. Perhaps the option could be configurable so sites no using ODBC would not incur the overhead. In other words, allow each site to pick which option (a, b, or c) they want as the default. Also, keep the SigImage stuff here. Jim Phillips [log in to unmask]
