Hi, Jeff - Your posting reminded me ... Any suggestions on a good reference source (preferable with lots of 'real' examples) for learning CI programming? There seem to be a lot of 'tricks' (or perhaps better put, understandings) that simply are not in the small "Command Interpreter Access and Variables Programmer's Guide" P/n 32650-90011. I've found the pieces of code that folk contribute to the 3000 list to be VERY helpful as a learning tool, but am wondering if there is something else. Thanks. -Deane Date: Mon, 26 Aug 1996 19:10:39 -0700 From: Jeff Vance <[log in to unmask]> Subject: Summary of FLABELINFO/FINFO enhancements Hi All, Here is a summary of the recent additions to FLABELINFO and the FINFO fuction: Item# Description FINFO mnemonics ----- ---------------------------------- ------------------------ 56 computed number of sectors in file "SECTORS" "NUM SECTORS" 57 computed number of extents in file "EXTENTS" "NUM EXTENTS" 58 formatted file creation time "CREATION TIME" -58* integer file creation time "INTCREATETIME" * item for FINFO only. regards, Jeff Vance, CSY ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Deane Bell Computer Services Coordinator, Affiliate Instructor The University of Washington Vmail : (206) 548-6009 Medical Centers Pharmacy switchboard: (206) 548-6060 1959 N.E.
