Also in last week's issue of the Economist, there is an article about the
future of CD-ROMS. It seems that no CD-ROM has every been as successful
as Myst (2 million copies sold since 1993), and most don't get to even
10% of that.  Consumers buy on average less than one CD-ROM per year,
despite the fact that there are curently 20 million multimedia-capable
PCs.
