We are getting files from a MVS system running FTP. Everything seems fine but when we get a file that does not exist on the MVS system the HP gets a file not found and never gets back to the FTP prompt. The process goes into a loop and consumes the CPU. Our MVS group says it is the HP/IP stack not their system. I noted they changed the version from 2.0 to 3.0 over the weekend. MMMMMMMM Is there any help out there or suggestions? Ernie, We've been using HP's FTP for some time now with a variety of systems, but not IBM/MVS, however. Have you tried it with any other FTP client? For example, WRQ's RNS (Reflection Network Series - 3000 Connection) has an FTP client AND server, and both Windows 95 and Windows NT have FTP built in. If you have either Win95 or NT, and TCP/IP is installed - you can test the same thing in a matter of minutes...I would suggest you give that a try. (If you don't have any of these, e-mail me privately and maybe I can help out with a remote test for you, if you wish). Best Regards, Joe Geiser
