So I have to go change all the IP addresses on the client machines. I changed my IP address and now can no longer connect to the HP via Reflection. Does the HP machine have to be on the same subset of IP numbers for the network to work ? Is it a simple procedure to change the IP address of the HP to our new block of numbers ? <snip> Gregory, If the address space is Class C - and I assume it is, your HP must have the same IP "Network Portion" of the address as the PC's, unless you also have a router installed which allows packets from different IPs to pass. For example - if your new address is 192.100.100.x - where x is the "host" portion and the 192.100.100 is the "network" portion, then all PCs and the HP must all have 192.100.100 as the first three octects of the IP Address. As for it being hard, NMMGR is used to change the IP address of the HP. Run NMMGR, go through Guided Config - it's either the first or second screen. Change the IP address, then save the configuration then validate it. After that, go to SYSGEN, and set up the config change, Hold and Keep it. After that, when you bring the network down, then up again, the new IP should take effect, and the problems should go away. Consult the NMMGR manual set for the *detailed* instructions for changing the IP address. Best Regards, Joe Geiser
