<<If anyone has any information on connecting to a an HP3000 with WRQ
Reflections software and the HP operating system requirements I would
greatly appreciate your response.>>

It's a trick question: instead of ordering the obvious "Reflection for
Windows", you have to ask for "Reflection for HP with NS/VT". It is a
32-bit-only product that runs under both Win95 and NT, using the built-in
TCP/IP stack of those OSs, and provides both Telnet and NS/VT connection
options. I think there is also some kind of enhanced TCP/IP stack from
WRQ that allows additional capabilities, but I don't know any details.
RHPNSwhatever is at version 5.1, and 5.2 just started beta.

R1 is consistently the most accurate HP emulator I've seen. Connecting to
the 3000 is trivial; "just hook up the wires". The advantage of the
"NS/VT" product is (surprise!) that it supports VT connections;
otherwise, you'd have to use Telnet, which, at the moment, requires a
Telnet Access Card in a DTC or a Telnet Express box. 5.5 will have
host-based inbound Telnet, but VT is a higher-performance protocol
anyway. If you already have Telnet capability, and don't require/want VT,
you can go with the standard "Reflection 1 for Windows" product, which is
available in both 16-bit and 32-bit versions.
