Thank you all for your response. We were still having problems after having HP change the ROMS and changing the configuration. We found one terminal which did not seem to have any problems and discovered that almost all problems were solved by changing the speed from 9600 to 19.2k. It's significant to note that these terminals are connecting through our phone switch. The HP-to-switch is apparently running at 19.2k and apparently unable to buffer enough data to compensate for the switch-to-terminal connection at 9600. At least that's the best explanation I can come up with. There are a few terminals still with problems, and others which have slave printers to which applications print which seem to act differently, perhaps because escape sequences are more stringent. We're continuing our warranty support for the migration as we research these issues. Once again, thanks for your assistance. Philip E. Test
