The most probable causes for your problem are: - don't have capability to modify the database as it is defined in the DBE - you are trying to update an Image detail dataset and there is not an item marked as a unique key in that table. <PLUG> One solution is the ODBCLink driver from M.B. Foster at 1-800-ANSWERS or 1-613-448-2333. It is more flexible, much faster, easier to setup and doesn't require Image/SQL (TurboImage will do). It also works with the 32bit clients NOW! </PLUG> Brian Duncombe ([log in to unmask]) - M.B. Foster Software Labs "Inside every large program is a small one struggling to get out." C. A. R. Hoare
