I just tested running an X-Windows application on the 3000 (the "pizza"
demo program) with the display being directed to various destinations.
It worked just fine displaying on: 9000, IBM RS6000 (AIX), and X-terminal.
In the case of the X-Terminal, the terminal was also connected to a 9000,
and was apparently under the control of VUE ... and the pizza window appeared
like a normal VUE window. If I can kick Charlie off the X terminal soon,
I'll try the pizza application again, with as little "host support" of any
kind as possible.
