Shirley: This is also a problem is you use compuserve and try to use RNS products in a windows enviroment. One way of moving around the problem is to 1. Remove the Winsock.DLL from the \Windows\System directory (this assumes your windows directory is called "Windows". There are some problems in Windows (and associated applications) if the directory is not called not called "Windows". 2. Place the Winsock.DLL that is appropriate for the package in the working directory of the application In my case this means the Compuserve Winsock lives in the Cserve, CID, Mosaic directories and the the RNS Winsock lives in the \RWIN\WRQNET Directory. 3. This works OK however the problem comes when you try to run both applications at the same time. The system WILL NOT ALLOW this. The reason this works is that during 'load' time windows looks first in the working directory then in the 'system' directory and then searchs the 'dos path' Hope this helps you Regards, Steve Hanselman 75774,[log in to unmask]
