The above is in essence what I had done.  After some playing around I found
a machine on which the above works fine.  So I tried to compare the
available services on both machines (DSLINE:nodename ;SERVICES).
 
The machine where the above worked has the additional services "HCS" and
"HDSPNS" available and enabled. Does anyone know what these services are?
Could their absence cause the above 'dscopy' operation to fail?  Are they
available through a patch?
