One of the new files on the 5.0 PUSH is TELNTDOC.ARPA.SYS, it's our attempt to keep you all informed of any new features or limitations to the TELNET/iX product. The behavior Phil describes is precisely why we have stated we do not support PC VT users with the TELNET/iX Client. As it turns out, WRQ has a fix available for their PC/VT application that appears to resolve this problem. Their module RNS for Windows version 4.02 , available from WRQ, keeps this forced <CR><LF> behavior from happening. The WRQ information will be documented in the TELNTDOC.ARPA.SYS file that is updated via the first TELNET/iX Client Patch. Pleas be aware that we still do not support the PC/VT user TELNET'ing out from the 3000. That is we can't guarantee they will have useable displays. However, you may be able to make it work. You should not see this <CR><LF> behavior with DTC connected devices or with VT3K. If you do... we REALLY want to know about it. Preferably via normal support channels.
