We have a job in the scheduler similar to yours, but, it schedules all the
jobs for the next day.

It schedules the jobs by running scheduler.maestro.ccc,autodate to pick
those jobs that qualify (If I remember correctly).

We then stop maestro and run something called stageman.maestro-I'm not sure
what this does. Then we start Maestro again and run various production
reports.

If you have documentation on Maestro-I'd see how scheduler and stageman work
in synch to set up schedules to run the next day.

I don't know if you could merely SUBMIT this schedule, and it would take
off, or not. You could try that...

Subject: [HP3000-L] MAESTRO question

It's been a loooooong time but I'm trying to enter a schedule into MAESTRO.

I created a job (THEJOB) in ARRANGER and then added a schedule in COMPOSER:

SCHEDULE SITE#HOURLY ON WEEKDAYS EXCEPT HOLIDAYS AT 0800 UNTIL 1800 :
  THEJOB EVERY 100
END

Which SHOULD run THEJOB every hour during the week from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

In COMPOSER, I can DISPLAY the job after adding it.

I stopped BATCHMAN and restarted it, but no job appears in the schedule. Am
I missing something simple here?

Thanks,

Mark W.
