A holiday problem for all you HP3000 experts ! I'm trying to setup a temporary account on our HP so that we can save files in that account even though we're logged in our normal development account. I'm getting errors that imply I need an ACD set. Detail now follows : Trying to modify Pub.trial (group/account) so that we can save files in the group when logged onto prog.develop (user account). Here's the current setup : ******************** USER: PROG.DEVELOP HOME GROUP: PUB PASSWORD: ** MAX PRI : 150 LOC ATTR: $00000000 LOGON CNT : 33 CAP: CV,UV,LG,ND,SF,BA,IA,MR,PH ACCOUNT: TRIAL DISC SPACE: 94927872(SECTORS) PASSWORD: ** CPU TIME : 92419(SECONDS) LOC ATTR: $00000000 CONNECT TIME: 1325(MINUTES) SECURITY--READ : ANY DISC LIMIT: UNLIMITED WRITE : ANY CPU LIMIT : UNLIMITED APPEND : ANY CONNECT LIMIT: UNLIMITED LOCK : ANY MAX PRI : 150 EXECUTE : ANY GRP UFID : $05670008 $510ED362 $00E4A2D0 $62821832 $176A0329 USER UFID: $00000000 $00000000 $00000000 $00000000 $00000000 CAP: AM,AL,CV,UV,LG,PS,ND,SF,BA,IA,MR,DS,PH listgroup pub.trial ******************** GROUP: PUB.TRIAL DISC SPACE: 65912640(SECTORS) PASSWORD: ** CPU TIME : 91366(SECONDS) SECURITY--READ : ANY CONNECT TIME: 896(MINUTES) WRITE : ANY DISC LIMIT: UNLIMITED APPEND : ANY CPU LIMIT : UNLIMITED LOCK : ANY CONNECT LIMIT: UNLIMITED EXECUTE : ANY PRIV VOL : NO SAVE : ANY FILE UFID: $05670008 $510ED362 $001974D0 $62821832 $176A0526 MOUNT REF CNT: n/a HOME VOL SET : MPEXL_SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET CAP: BA,IA,PH But the error I get (logged on as prog.develop) is S:copy scet01.tony.develop,scet01.pub.trial ^ User lacks create directory entries (CD) access to parent directory. (CIERR 933) The documentation for this CI error implies that an ACD needs to be setup, using the ALTSEC command. But you can't put ACDs on accounts or groups - only HFS directories and files. HELP ! What's the parent directory that needs the ACD ? The contents of this email are confidential to the intended recipient and may not be disclosed.
