It came with the 7x24 true on-line backup option of t-store and we got it with patches for our non-7x24 version of t-store starting back in the 5.5 days. Before the patch if you tried to do a store-2-disc you got an error message that said you needed to have the 7x24 version to store-2-disc. BTW, for those debating the need for user groups, meetings, gatherings, meeting of the minds, etc: This functionality was made available due to discussions that occurred at an Interex function for MPE users: IPROF. I think it was the last IPROF before it morphed into Solutions Symposium. During a roundtable with many CSY/HP'ers present there was a general question raised about making store-2-disc generally available since it was difficult to get a dependable file packaging methodology for electronic xfer given all the hassles with 'mover'. The thought from the floor was that if HP made the store-2-disc feature part of store that we could forget about 'mover' and have a dependable packaging methodology that all could use. To CSY/HP's credit they took this input and 'made it so'. It has been a welcome addition to the MPE toolkit over the last number of years. duane percox * To join/leave the list, search archives, change list settings, * * etc., please visit http://raven.utc.edu/archives/hp3000-l.html *
