No, the 9000/340 has a Motorola 680x0 processor.

9144 and 7945 would work.  Watch out for gooey capstan rubber on the
9144.

9142 is an oddball.  I remember using it with Vectras and HP150s.
I don't think it was supported under HP-UX or MPE, and I don't know
how it really differs from a 9144.
