I'm now in a new house and am starting to plan the home theatre layout. Everything is falling into place, except there is NO WAY to run the surround sound speakers to the back of the room in any neat, civilized manner (crosses doorways, hallways, fireplace, etc). What I would like is someone that could run the cables through the walls, and magically provide outlets near the amp and the surround speakers. So it is "sort of like" adding an extra outlet, but not quite the same (no existing cable you can snake to the outlet). The Living room is directly over a den with a sprayed ceiling, so I can't cheat by drilling through the floor. Any suggestions welcome, but if they're thinking the ceiling route, I should mention this is a 23' ceiling in a A-frame. So nowhere to go up or down conveniently. Thanks, Jeff Kell (x4552 office)
