Gehan, On the 'Transform Data Task' in question (ie the DataPump), you have the ability under the 'Options' tab (right click on the task and select properties, then click on the Options tab) to select several settings which can help you debug the problem. . Exception file name: The name of a file that will be written showing any rows that fail. This way you can go back and see what was causing you grief. . Max Error Count: By default this is zero so it will stop when it encounters the first error. Set it higher so you can get the good data imported. . First Row/Last Row: If you know you have a particular row (or sequential rows) that have invalid data, you can start and stop the task so that it picks up only what you want. Generally when the task stops, it will tell you what row it was processing. . Insert Batch Size: You can process the input side in chunks which may or may not be appropriate in your case. If you do, the max error count above refers to how many of these batchs must have errors, not how many errors there are within a particular batch. DTS is VERY powerful and we've used it for several different customers including importing HP3000 data.
