I have all my cats fixed, so I don't have the problem of having to get 5 friends to help me lug 1512 felines around in sacks. -----Original Message----- From: Connie Sellitto [mailto:[log in to unmask]] Sent: Thursday, October 23, 2003 1:08 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: [HP3000-L] OT: It's a math question, find the answer Wirt writes, after Michael - > >Subject: Re: [HP3000-L] OT: It's a math question, find the answer > >Michael asks: > >> what's the catch? > >The information about the kittens is irrelevant and doesn't figure into >the calculation. Perhaps the problem could be clarified if it read 'Adult cats' in the bag, with their 6 kittens. Again - the general public uses the term 'Cats and Kittens' as though 'Kittens' were a separate entity from 'Cats'... Whatever - an interesting exercise - one I'll pass along to my son and his 5th grade Math class...
