You have NO idea how gullable people can be. Despite the fact that hoaxs like this have ben circulating for years and we have made every effort to inform and educate staff there are STILL users out there who INSIST on opening EVERY single attachment they receive. Their excuse? "Oh, I thought the Virus Scanner would catch it!" I personally think it can all be solved with a simple solution... ...Arm the IT staff and let them shoot those who do stupid things like this. And lets not limit this to just virus related idiocy. I think an umbrella of IT-related stupid-user tricks should be subject to random acts of violence. The serious offenders will be quickly dealt with and eliminated. The rest will rapidly fall into line like the sheep they are! Hehehe, Sigh.... To live in such a world.... LOL And for those who really do lack a sense of humour, this was a CLEAR attempted at illiciting a chuckle or two from those folks who do. Have a good weekend! I am amazed 'Microsoft' would be so careless as to propagate a virus like this. Or maybe it wasn't Microsoft? You would think the perpetrators of this hoax would have gotten the message by now? But I suppose there is always a chance it can catch one or two. * To join/leave the list, search archives, change list settings, * * etc., please visit http://raven.utc.edu/archives/hp3000-l.html * * To join/leave the list, search archives, change list settings, * * etc., please visit http://raven.utc.edu/archives/hp3000-l.html *
