So are you saying I can only have a maximum of 8 disks mirrored on two channels? No ... you can have multiple physical disks collected into one "logical" disk that MPE sees. You can define up to 8 "logical" disks that will show as LDEV's in MPE. For instance, you might want to put 2 disks (RAID 1) into 1 LUN to be LDEV 1, 2 more disks (RAID 1) into a LUN to be LDEV 2, then create 5 more LUNS (3 disks each, RAID 5) each showing up another LDEV on MPE.
