I'm trying to replace a vplus screen with a script that will accomplish the same functionality. The users are conditioned to use the num pad ENTER key, not the RETURN key. I have attempted to echo the escape sequence (esc)&f211P<!149> (literally, including <, >, and ! characters) without success. It seems as though !nnn is an abbreviated form of the DO command. I've never seen nor heard of this before, but thats a different subject. When I echo this string, I get an 'invalid numeric redo index' message. Any advice is greatly appreciated. * To join/leave the list, search archives, change list settings, * * etc., please visit http://raven.utc.edu/archives/hp3000-l.html *
