> Greg attempts to defend G.W. Bush's policy by writing: I am not so much defending one policy as questioning the political acumen of someone who makes their living from the absurd. I do not think that Will Rogers would recognize that particular form of humor. Also, I am pointing out where certain facts are ignored, upon which the story turns. > But beyond that, I have never felt so out of touch with the > American public. Allow me to remind you that almost exactly half of the voting public chose someone else for their presidential candidate. Some of them preferred more than one other candidates. Me, I keep waiting for a conservative to run. But I've been surly ever since I did my taxes. The Federal scoundrels still want to keep some $1380 of my wages, and the robber barons with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts want nearly twice as much.
