A reboot would of cleared the problem. I don't know the specific reason, but when you do an slt update you rename sysstart,command.pub to something else and then rename them back before the final reboot process. FYI check to make sure all of your HFS directories are there and test your CSTM products. ---------- Over the weekend we did an INSTALL (new EMC box installed). After the O/S was booted, we restored the directory, and then did the full restore with keep and olddate options. After the restore finished, no UDCs were set for any user. Why? As you can see by this MPEX listf command.pub.sys,XL3, the file was restored successfully from tape. Is there something else other than COMMAND.PUB.SYS that doesn't survive an INSTALL? By the way BULDACCT.PUB.SYS has a bug in that it tries to stream jobs for users that don't have BA capability.
