Hi all! Not a thread that I wanted to get pulled into, but I thought there were a few items from Wirt that needed to be addressed. Run the numbers and you could be surprised. We did an interesting experiment in college, where we tracked the correlation of which party was elected President to which conference won the Super Bowl. There was a strong correlation between the two, but I still don't have a reason why. Sometimes, statistics are just that, statistics. The item that really surprised me was the logic that Christians and people who voted for Bush are people who seek simpler, more childlike explanations. I didn't expect to see Wirt make such broad accusations. Does that mean that Republicans and Christians are simple, child-like thinking people? Or did they become Republican and Christian because of it? Wirt, if I misinterpreted what you said, please correct me.
