Having a US citizen child confers no right on the
parents, or any other relatives to reside in the
United States. In fact, a US citizen child
cannot obtain permanent residency for his parents
until he reaches age twenty one. Prior to that,
if the parents cannot obtain some other status
in the US on their own merit, they must leave.
Of course, in such a case, they are allowed
to take the child with them.
