. . . and the type of item.  There are certain items (at the moment, I think it
was digital cameras, but I may be remembering incorrectly) which regularly sell
on eBay for *more* than retail, and there are some items, such as
hand-crocheted which you nearly can't give away (and which would most certainly
bring decent prices elsewhere).  eBay is a very interesting place :-).
