In November of 2001, HP announced future sales and support end dates for the HP e3000 platform. As a result, many people have been asking for detailed information about how to make the transition from the HP e3000 to other platforms. Beginning this month, HP will present a series of customer webcast events designed to help with this important change. The first customer webcast in this series will take place on Tuesday, January 22nd. During this event, we'll take a high level look at the processes involved in moving from MPE/iX to HP-UX, Linux or a Windows operating system. We'll also see what HP is doing to help make this change easier. Customers who would like to register to attend this event should follow this link to the the registration page at http://webcenter.hp.com/cgi/desktv/csy/2418/index.pl A link to the registration page is also available on the HP e3000 home page at http://www.hp.com/go/e3000. * To join/leave the list, search archives, change list settings, * * etc., please visit http://raven.utc.edu/archives/hp3000-l.html *
