Well Donna I may need a beating to get this thru my thick skull. I set up
syslog but it is not logging anything. Well it does log the startup but
that is all. The syslog.conf file is:
*.emerg *
*.alert /tmp/syslog.log
*.crit /tmp/syslog.log
*.err /tmp/syslog.log
*.warning /tmp/syslog.log
*.info /tmp/syslog.log
*.debug /tmp/syslog.log
*.notice /tmp/syslog.log

Any ideas?
