Thanks to those who responded to my last post on this subject. They have slunk back to a UNIX box to hassle those owners. However they will be back. Does a tool exist, or is there a way, to track logons, logoffs and failed passwords? LOGTOOL does not seem to post often enough to make the PHB happy. Ideally I would like something that writes these events to a file in real time. Then I could monitor the file and send a message out a port when too many attemps have been made. Is this doable? * To join/leave the list, search archives, change list settings, * * etc., please visit http://raven.utc.edu/archives/hp3000-l.html *
