The scary thing about that subject line is that A) It's legible, and B)
I don't work for IBM. <grin>

While poking about on our test server, I tried to create some users and
received the following typically-concise error message: "User database
(HPUID.PUB.SYS) internal error. (CIERR 818)"

A couple of brain cells when out for dinner and drinks with a couple of
memory cells, resulting in a dim recollection that I need to fix/enlarge
my UID database somehow, but unfortunately the double-date ended badly
before they got to the part about how that is done. (Who knows how
these things happen? To many drinks, some hurt feelings...)

Since HP's web site sez they regret that searching is "temporarily
unavailable" right now, can anyone suggest how I can cheerfully return
to the user-creation frenzy I once knew? A simple reboot? An arcane
script? An unsupported program? Rubber chicken?

Thanks!
Curtis
