Gary, This problem is not in the user's capabilities to run the program. The problem is your program is trying to open a file that you don't have access to. By running a god utility you are giving yourself SM capability so that you can open any file on the system. Do you have the source for the program to check for the files the program wants to open? Or perhaps there are file equations to point you in the right direction.
