The last time I had this problem in my shop (1979) the CE did a Ctrl-Q
on the console, undoing the Ctrl-S that had been blocking the console
messages from appearing, and everything magically came back to life.

Didn't even have to get his screwdrivers out. Oops.


But I don't know if anything has changed since MPE III.... :-)
