Hi Michael, Being part of the R&D lab, I do not have customer experience on XP512. So, I will answer other questions. Currently, XP512 is supported on MPE/iX 6.0 PP2 and MPE/iX 6.5. > What is a recommended approach > for circumventing the FC vs FW-SCSI connectivity issues? HP e3000 connectivity to the XP512 is via the SCSI to Fibre Channel router (A5814A). We have tested this "hpe3000-[scsi-fc router]-XP512" successfully. This is the same router which is used for XP512 connectivity from other SCSI hosts (e.g., HP-uX), also the same router used with MPE/iX distancing solution. More information on XP512/HPe3000 is available at http://businessservers.hp.com/products/storage/dda/CSY001G0N.html http://www.enterprisestorage.hp.com/products/disk_array/sse_disk_array_xp512 _pb.html I would be happy to provide more information and/or address your questions on this subject.
