I have 6.5 running on 5 3000's. Two major issues came up that one other respondent didn't mention:

1. CSTM wouldn't work (replacement for sysdiag -> termdsm). Also another problem with it is that only a user with SM capability can run it.
2. DO NOT ABORT A STORE OPERATION WITHOUT A PATCH. If you abort either an online or batch store process it will cause a HALT 7. (eeewwww it makes me shudder)

We also had a problem with our SL file relating to MM and PM.
After installing patches to fix these problems we have had no other significant problems relating to the O/S.

I skipped right over 6.0 since 6.5 came out so soon.

I have Installed MPE 6.5 on a test server. I just ordered Powerpatch 1. I
plan on implementing this into our development and production environments
between the thanksgiving and Christmas time frame. When I ordered the patch
from the Response center they pointed out that most sites are going to 6.0,
and not many due, due to the fact it is still relatively new not going to
MPE 6.5 yet. Any thoughts or concerns about my approach?
