Greetings colleagues,
I am pleased to introduce you to Beverly Kemp, who has joined the Office of Research Integrity (ORI) as our new Senior Compliance Officer focusing on Research Security. Beverly will build upon and
develop ORI’s capabilities in Export Control, Research Information Security and Research Conflict of Interest. Beverly has over 14 years of research administration experience from Lamar University, in which she managed their research information technology
infrastructure and implemented several software platforms to improve efficiency across the University.
I would like to thank Chris Godfrey, Export Control Officer at UTK, who has been serving as ORI’s Interim Export Control Officer for the past year. Chris has provided critical guidance and expertise
for ORI during this time and provides a strong foundation for Beverly to expand upon.
I am very excited Beverly has joined our Office as she will be a significant asset and resource for UTC’s research community. Please join me in welcoming Beverly to her new role in the Office of Research
Integrity.
