Our friends at Adager did this some time ago!  See

(scroll down to find the VESOFT papers, including my first published paper on
the HP3000).

Also, if you have installed any VESOFT tape in the past 7 or 8 years, you
probably have an account named VECSL.  The group EBOOK.VECSL contains copies
of the papers, too.
