Nope. As nice as they are, Zip and UnZip don't have that capability.

Try LZW, it supports MPE file types and is available from
<ftp://ftp.telamon.com/lzw> for many different platforms and OS's,
including MPE/V, MPE/XL & MPE/iX. Make sure you read the ReadMe.txt file,
which includes instructions on the syntax. Best of all it works. :-)

Good luck,
Patrick

Subject: [HP3000-L] Zip and UNZip

I downloaded and installed ZIP and UNZip from NHA. It seems to be working
well except that when I unzip a file it looses its rec size/file code/type
properties (see below). Am I doing something wrong?

FILENAME CODE ------------LOGICAL RECORD----------- ----SPACE----
SIZE TYP EOF LIMIT R/B SECTORS #X MX

S 1B BA 3425792 2147483647 1 13392 10 *
Un-Zipped file was Y
