I just got an "early bird" renewal offer - renew by 1/14/2000 and get $ off.

They want me to renew 11 months early? Are they hard up for cash or
 something?

Hi Tom,
I have forwarded your question to our membership dept. Without knowing
for sure, my guess would be that the renewal offer was for your 1999
membership expiration. The notice most likely was generated before our system
was updated for your renewal.
