We were faced with this 'Bar Code' issue and with cartridges 'walking away' many
years ago. I wrote a
program that creates CODE39 bar code 'soft font'. The user supplies the font's
characteristics and the
program creates the soft font that can then be pre-downloaded to the printer or
included with the report that
needs to use it.
