Michel,
  There are a couple of options besides the one Wirt mentioned.  One is to use
PCL which, despite Wirt's downplaying of it, is well up to the job.  A quick
switch into graphics and a few bytes later you'll have a barcode.  Holler if
you wish to go that route and need more info.  Another is to buy a barcode font
in a cartridge.  That'll be the easiest, I expect.  Do be careful to buy the
right kind of barcodes, though.  There are many different kinds depending on
what you intend to use them for.
