I am on 6.0 of MPE/ix and have no problem with nmmgr on telnet. The issue
is not telnet or ns/vt but terminal emulation. Many of the telnet emulators
either do not emulate anything other than a really dumb terminal or only a
vt-100 terminal.

Subject: Re: how many have switched to linux?
William,
I thought about the switch to Linux but could not find a NS/VT emulator
until now.
A product like WRQ Reflection 1 is not available for running on Linux.
Without such an emulator it is impossible to run Vplus orientated programs.
E.g NMMGR does not work on a telnet connection.
If someone has found an emulator that runs on Linux this problem can be
solved and then Linux would be a good alternative to Windows.
