The American Online Foundation provides funding to support collaborative
partnerships that develop and implement innovative uses of interactive,
inquiry-based learning to enhance student achievement for K-12 schools.

Partnerships that include university faculty, K-12 teachers,
administrators, parents, and community leaders are encouraged. Projects
that serve underrepresented populations are encouraged.

The maximum funding level is $7500 and in some instances grants can be
supplemented by in-kind support such as free AOL accounts, computer
donations, and other types of assistance.

The proposal deadline is January 17, 2000.
