Let me see what your saying.  20 years difference (isn't that about
right?) to learn one more power of 2 in counting?  Yep, guess that's
why it's called software engineering.:-)

But seriously, the real discovery of those 20 years is that one can
get rich by delivering sloppy code while following the "right"
business practices and delivering enough apparent productivity boost
while the machine stays up.
