then I am at home looking at the List - addicted I guess ! So then a
piece of malarkey for Friday follows - everyone else is shooting stuff
up there so why not ?

On an aside...Tony Knowles from NZ are you still there ? A few friends
from England and North America have asked if I am working over the
millenium rollover to send a few messages. I thought I might ask you the
same...if you are working...if you do not mind. [...]45_26Nov199914:00:[log in to unmask]

mmm...I know that the Korries purchased one of the local pubs in
Walgett at one stage and went broke. Seems the staff were a bit too
generous with their family members. They have been given back a lot
of land and have been making some money from it. Not too sure how
much of that money filters down to the rank and file.
There have been numerous programs introduced to assist the native
Australians and the majority of them have failed. Even the ones
started by their own people. A number have been successful however so
there is some hope.
