hi all~

i've got a puzzler.....  on one of my xl systems, if i do --
from the colon prompt --
 :setjcw cierror = 0
 :showvar>$null
cierror is still set to zero -- as expected.

but if i do the same thing -- in a job -- cierror is set to
8116 (no match found.... (ciwarn 8116)).  is $null the
problem?  something else?  strange, very strange....
