For those of you who are expecting to quickly buy shares of Agilent stock
when it comes up in its IPO, Agilent's stock abbreviation is going to be
simply:"A".

That's actually kinda cool. Reuters writes, "Some of the Big Board's most
enduring corporate names have single-letter ticker symbols. Agilent's A will
lead a pack that includes financial powerhouse Citigroup's C, auto maker Ford
Motor Co.'s F and shaving giant Gillette Co.'s G." All of these single-letter
companies are members of the Dow Jones Industrial Average.
