Jean,
you have several options:
(a) original file is INETDCNF.NET.SYS
The PRINT command will show this.
(b) the linked filename is /etc/inetd.conf to look alike Unix.
A PRINT /etc/inetd.conf will help as well.
(c) If you want to go to Posix you may use the commands
cat or more for /etc/inetd.conf or /SYS/NET/INETDCNF - both will work!
(d) Without Posix the commands
CAT.HPBIN.SYS /etc/inetd.conf or
CAT.HPBIN.SYS /SYS/NET/INETDCNF
will work as well - MORE.HPBIN.SYS only if the terminal has been set properly
....
but PRINT is in MPE always the best!
Hope this will help!

Subject: HOW DO I VIEW INETD.CONF
Apparently, I have an invalid argument in INETD.CONF. I would like view the
file and compare it to another HP3000 system. Unfortunately I can't locate
the file. I suspect I have to go into POSIX, but I need some coaching.
Thank you,
Jean Huot
