Does anyone have experience configuring and using a port other than 23 for
telnet? What about ftp? What about ping? For telnet and ftp it looks
like it might be possible to change the port numbers in services.net.sys.
Before I try it, any comments?

Any why would anyone want to do such a thing? The Navy has decided to
block ports 7, 21, and 23, incoming and outgoing. No exceptions. Guess
where that leaves us?

Thanks!

John
